Brayden’s first presentation

Brayden had to do a presentation. The parents were invited to come and watch so of course the camera came along too. I was very proud of him. He was very intimidated about it because he still doe not like to read in from of other but it turned out real well. He said he chose the penguin because it was cool! LOL!

My Mom, Pop and Kelli has arrived for 29 days of Korean fun!! So far they have gotten to experience Korean SNOW!!! Seriously we had 3 inches roll the evening they rolled in…and schools were even called the next day which the boys answer to that was..SWEET! We are going to hit the streets running and try and do and see as much as we can. My mom is taking me to China..just me and her. I am looking forward that. Pop is going to stay here and take care of the boys and Kelli. May the force be with him! So far I have introduced them to my favorite little deaf lady that sells the socks and gloves in the Ville, she was just delighted to meet them. Then I took them in to there very first purse store…my oh my…they were amazed! We didn’t make it much past that point so we will have to pace ourselves. I will post some random photos on here of the past couple of days of what all we have been up to. ENJOY! By the way,,,still no word on where we are moving to…

Brayden’s basketball awards

Brayden had a great season and LOVED having his daddy as his coach! He really learned a lot and came forward a lot with his skills. We had a little end of season party for them at the indoor pool and gave them trophies! I think all the kiddos really enjoyed the whole season!

Superbowl…The house divided…

Well, once again the house was divided over football!!! I know this does not surprise anyone who knows th Parker family when it comes to us in football! I was pulling for DA SAINTS…why??? because of me being from the SOUTH and so close to the LA!!! JUST HAD TO BE THERE FOR THEM!!! Had Mitch hads this sick obessesion with this Manning fella…(LOL..sorry honey..I love you) so he has corrupted our youngest to follow him and I have corrupted our oldest to follow me. Same with college ball too! Bryson and I LOVE BAMA ball!!! and Mitch and Brayden Love TENN ball! Odd huh?? So, when football season rolls around we play dirty to say the least…look out! I can heckle with the best of them!!! Needless to say I was a happy girl after the Superbowl and what a deserving team!!

Wild Wild WEST Night at the Officer’ Clubs

Every year the officer’s wives puts on a BIG night at the club with a western theme to raise money for scholarships and other things. It is a lot of fun and they go all out and even get the Korean Nationals into it! We had to round up some western wear the best we could and off we went YEEHAW y’all!!!

Annual Awards

Mitch had Annual Awards this past weekend. He grumbles about getting dressed up in his Mess Dress but I never get tired of seeing him in it! I love my Officer and My Gentleman! He had two his coworker in his area win awards win so it was a great night! Me and the boys stayed at home One of the winners is a Korean national that works for Mitch

I really did not want him to but he REALLY wanted to go to his first “Winter Ball” at his school. He needed a suit for this event and lucky for us we are in the “land of the suits”. So, off we went to find him a suit. We went to where daddy has had his suits made. The sweet Korean ladies measured him and of course treated him like royalty because they thought it was “cute” and $150.00 later we were through with our first fitting!! Bryson picked out his shirt color and his tie all by himself and was quite proud of selection. I am proud of him too. Sorry for the lacking of pictures but in true Bryson fashion I had to CHASE him down to even get these and I do mean chase him down all the way to the elevator…He had a great night with his friends.

Bryson’s first Basketball game-Mustangs

Basketball season is here in Korea. Both boys are playing. Mitch is coaching Brady’s team this season so I am splitting myself in half running from gym to gym to see both boys play. I now know why we stopped with two boys. Bryson’s team is called the Mustangs and he has some of his close buddies on his team. Today was tough on him because they played the other team from the base and it has his close friends on it! It was a great game and stayed tied almost the whole game but they ended up losing by one basket.

Chief’s Induction

Becoming a Chief in the United States Air Force is a pretty hard thing to do and a very highly respected thing once you have reached that place. It is as high as you can go in the enlisted force. You have to work very hard to get there. It is only 1% that make up the Chiefs groups out of about 300,000 (give or take) Airman. why am I telling you this you ask because I was very impressed tonight at the hardwork that these airman have put in to reach their goals to get them where they are today. I felt honored to be there tonight to be with two from our squadron. One in particular has worked very closely with Mitch and took very good care of Mitch. We call him Fish. We were proud to be there to witness his success tonight! Our squadron here is one of the largest at Osan. I think we have about 500 ( Mitch will most likely correct this when he sees it) They are all hard workers here. They are “Ready to Fight Tonight” which is their motto. Anyway enjoy the pictures.

Bryson’s soccer team #1 in South Korea!

We played all the teams (military kid wise) within the penisula through out the soccer season. We remained undefeated! It was a great season with great coaches. Our coaches were active duty linguist here and they play soccer for the base team. They really made it fun for the boys and girls! Our final tournament was up in Seoul and boy was it cold. The kids when they were not playing were laying flat on the ground to get out of the wind to stay warm.
